Training at R&S Rolling Ranch

·        R&S Rolling Ranch offers training on all breeds of horses in the following:

o       Western Riding

o       Driving

o       Groundwork

o       Round pen work

·        We use natural horsemanship techniques in training horses. 

·        Our process that all horses follow is:  we start with groundwork and round pen work.  Once the horse is respectful in those two activities then we start working the horse to ride or drive.

·        At R&S Rolling Ranch, we strongly encourage our clients to get involved in the training of their horses by taking lessons along with the training of their horse to learn the techniques used.  We encourage this so both the horse and owner are on the same level when the horse leaves our farm.

·        R & S Rolling Ranch is requiring all horses coming in for training to be vaccinated at least 11 to 14 days before arriving on the property. We will need a sign vet statement.

o       Minimum vaccinations required

1.     Tetanus toxoid

2.     E & W Sleeping sickness

3.     Influenza

4.     Rhino

5.     West Nile

6.     Strangles  (nasal)

7.     Copy of a Negative Coggins test
